Fire Chief Bruce Mygatt will be retiring after 46 years of service to the citizens of the district.  His last day will be Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

Chief Mygatt has overseen the transition from an all-volunteer agency to a combined career/volunteer department running 900 calls per year. He added advanced life support to the service delivery for Boulder Rural. He was the driving force behind completing our headquarters station in 2010.

Thank you for your many years of service to the citizens, Chief, and enjoy your next chapter.

Deputy Chief Jeff Webb has been named as the acting fire chief, while the search process continues.
